hmmmm...I'm not sure if I'm crazy about the idea of a part time/when I feel like working pharmacist.
The first sentence "where I work as a pharmacist" sounds okay, but in the second where she states: "I like to do some shifts for the company I work for, Target, in the off-season. I really like to explore that other aspect of my life." it makes it sound like a hobby!
22 posts before anyone notices that the problem with the headline isn't about working at Target or "summer." This place rocks.
(Hint: she came third.)
No, someone noticed it in post 13.
Doh!

He said she is working at Target. She works at Target. On what planet is that misleading?
It is misleading because it implies an entry level wage. Porter is a pharmacist = not an entry level wage earner. It requires an advanced degree and professional certification.
Rojo then reinforced the misleading thread title by saying that he once worked as at Target as a cashier, implying that his entry-level experience at Target was the same as Porter's.

Wow... Okay, let's put it all together:
"Worlds bronze medalist Tiffany Porter will work as a pharmacist this winter."
(I took away the apostrophe in worlds as well seeing as it's not a possessive.)
Anything else?
And all this because of rojo's post. Rojo is a master troll. We are all his disciples.
You, good sir, have some serious issues to address if you believe that a phrase like "will work at Target" automatically "implies an entry level wage."

Rojo your title is so misleading....
I was in disbelief for a second that such an amazing athlete would have to work at target just to pay the bills.

The planet where the vast majority of jobs at Target are not on par in terms up financial compensation with what you need to support Olympic level training.
The planet where there has been a rush of pieces recently about athlete support in the wake of Philly RnR.
The planet where US record holder Brad Walker just had to sell a bunch of his stuff on eBay to make ends meet because he can't get sponsorship.
Do you not see how the title implies that a World's silver medalist could be working some minimum wage job to support herself, given the context of the Track newsworld today?
The title was both inaccurate and misleading. But so is your response. Professional track and field athletes are hardly an oppressed class in the U.S. They're generally highly employable college graduates who have chosen a very enjoyable occupation over more mundane jobs. And, by the way, Brad Walker did not have sell his stuff on eBay to make ends meet. He sold his Nike gear on eBay after months of contentious negotiations with the company that were terminated after he decided to tape over the Nike logo on his shoes during competition. His explanation for the tape was hardly credible:

I wonder if she need to log a certain number of hours every year/two years to keep her license active.
