I ran 4:25 for 1600 in high school off of complete sh*t training. 30-40 mpw, poor coaching, no teammates etc.
freshman year at a d3 now. training here is good (some guys are running as little as 40-50 or as much as 90-100 mpw) and also we do weights and pool stuff. i have decent speed (52 for 400) and decent endurance (high 15's for XC in hs) but am really focused on the mile/3k type events. goal is to run sub 4 1500 this spring. is this a reasonable goal? any training advice? thanks
