agip,
Good on the savings. I am maxing out my 401k, Roth and wife's IRA. I have scaled back the risk in light of the distribution phase that begins in less than five years.
I went from being a coach to a financial advisor, so I had little savings for the kids college. Fortunately both were good students. Son is an engineer and daughter is an attorney. All student loans have been paid.
How's the running? I ran an eight miler in the foothills followed by strides for a total of nine miles. The pace is getting fasters and the pounds are falling off. So making some progress.

sounds like we are both doing well with running - great news that you are running big miles again. Just please...don't get the marathon bug.
This is the heart of my spring season - I had a 10k this past weekend and ran very well - the fastest I've run in many years and beat some guys I haven't normally been ahead of. I'm in a real sweet spot here and not taking it for granted.
I have another 10k next week, a 5000 on the track in 3 weeks, then a capstone half marathon in May. Then I'll chill through the summer - I have completely lost the ability to race in the heat and humidity. One of the strange bits about aging.
Glad you're doing so well.
