Seems like a lot of power of suggestion and confirmation bias going on.
When he steps off the track it looks like he's just pulling the shorts liner out of his backside.
Take a look at the guy in Orange who walks behind Lagat after the race during Lagat's interview...now that is a LIMP.
Most of the other athletes look like they are guys who are wearing spikes walking on carpet after a race.
The guy in Orange looks ready for surgery.
Good points by A Duck.
This isn't injury, this is just the usual amount of body-patting and sprinter-limping you see at any meet, combined with walking on spikes off of a track.
Looks like Centro borrowed from Rupp's playbook and couldn't be bothered with the race. Weak. Missed opportunity. Races don't always go according to plan and athletes should learn to get the best finish they can in ANY situation. You NEVER see Lagat or Farah (who actually gets up from falls) doing this, much less ANY of the Ethiopians/Kenyans (who actually need to get paid for races).
I've said this dozens of times here: guys like Rupp, and to a lesser extent Solinsky and now Centro, seem to have been so coddled and used to winning easy in domestic/collegiate races, when things don't go 100% according to plan they quit. Often with a lot of drama (e.g. Solinksy saying he was "body-checked" by a 110-pound Ethiopian, or Centro skipping the media at this race).
Also a good observation by A Duck about that guy in "orange" (although that's a word I don't usually capitalize).
