I have had the same problem for 4-5 years, every time I get up to a respectable amount of mileage or start really doing a decent amount of intense speed or interval work I get the same injury. I just think that the Periosteum(soft tissue along the inside of my Tibia) gets chronically inflamed-I have tried everything to get rid of it or prevent it from happening-including long periods of time taken off(8 mos) to help it go away-but it neverrrr does and always costing me about the time I start to get into decent shape. Anyone had something similar and can offer a solution?
Or can anyone tell me who they consider to be the best/among the best Orthopedists in the US that may be able to help with my problem?
