The bucos ain't goin nowhere.

However,...when the second half comes, and it will!!
Da buco's will meloo out, and the chillin, will be killin...the standings fo da twenty thirteen buco's.
Maybe 88 wins? Who knows!!
But i needs to get me some oh dat madog 20/20.
Peace!!
Better enjoy it now before the big markets come in snatching all the talent like they have done so many years in the past to the Bucs and other small market teams.

Milwaukee is a perfect example of this. One of the premier small market teams and now most of their talent is gone. The Bucs have McCutchen for a few more years but it will take a miracle to keep him in Pittsburgh after his contract is up.

They just resigned him last year to a long term deal. He'll be around for a long time.
Yeah you are right, 5 years is a decent amount of time and he'll be around 31 by the time it is up. It will be interesting to see how he looks in 2018 when hes looking for another deal.
The pirates have some young talent but still aren't as good on paper as other teams in the NL central. I really like the recent surge from Alvarez but he needs to be more consistent long term for them to be contenders.

Hell yes!
So the Buccos lost last night. It's fine, so did St. Louis. It's still a two game lead in the central yinz bitches.
It's a long season, Steve. I'd temper my excitement.
I'm a Braves fan and very familiar with the Pirates of old: Andy Van Slyke, Barry Bonds, etc. Great teams. Some fantastic games with my Braves. Welcome back.
By the way- I'm old enough to remember 1979 and "We Are Family". Willie Stargell, Ed Ott, Omar Moreno, Bill Madlock, et al.
Congrats! Guess that means they win the coveted July mid season title trophy! oh wait....
Raise the Jolly Roger. The Pirates won again last night. With St. Louis also winning, the Bucs still have a two game lead. Just as importantly though, each game played is a lost chance for anyone to gain ground.
Jump on the bandwagon and celebrate the Pittsburgh greatness yinz bitches.
Everytime the Bucs win, I put my Jolly Roger up in my old lady's bidness. Her bidness been really busy this summer!

Looks like you can do it again. The Buccos took care of their bidness behind Liriano's complete game. St. Louis won so it's still a two game lead as the hottest team in baseball continues its march to October. Jump on the ship yinz bitches.
Hell of a shut out Wednesday against the A's behind Liriano who is totally kicking @ss this season. Nice off day for the boys yesterday. Now they get ready for the Mets starting tonight.
St. Louis lost last night to the stinkin' Cubs so we pick up a 1/2 game without even playing. Go Bucs! Jump on board the ship yinz bitches!
Raise the Jolly Roger boys! The Buccos managed to escape Cincinnati with a win behind another kick @ss start by All-Star Jeff Locke.
Yeah it's disappointing that they dropped the first two but we're not worried. I'll probably post here everytime the Pirates win for the rest of the year so count on seeing me about 35 to 40 more times.
We're goin' all the way yinz bitches!
Looks like the St. Louis Cardinals are the Greatest Team in Baseball right now. Of course we all know that will be the Cincy RedLegs by the end of the season.
Bandwagon!
Every front runner in the world, jump on!
(oh and thank you Yankees, more than 1/3 of our starting line up is Yankee rejects)
How bout them Battlin Bucs yinz bitches! Two straight on the road against Washington. I'm a little concerned about Grilli's injury but with our deep staff I think Clint will work it out. Big five fame series next week against Cards. Could go a long way to deciding the division.
Alright yinz bitches, how 'bout those Buccos? They dominated the Cards last night to take the first of five. They're a half game out of the lead and hopefully that will be taken care of tonight.
This is a big series. Obviously a sweep would be great but I'd settle for taking at least three of them. There's still time to jump on the ship. The Pirates are setting sail toward a pennant!
