Here's the deal:
My girlfriend has always told me that she like to "jog at the track" and she's done this forever, and I didn't think much of it.
Recently, I was on my run at the same time and ran by the track to see if she was done yet and I saw her doing 400s.
I asked her what she was doing and she told me this is what she always does when she comes to the track, because she saw someone else doing it a year or so ago.
He does 400s until she's tired or doesn't want to do it anymore, she usually does 7-9. She starts her watch and tries to "do it so I finish at 30 and start at 00" so she always does them in about 1:30 with 30 seconds rest.
When she doesn't run at the track, she runs 30-45 minutes 2-4 times a week.
She has never run a race, and absolutely refuses to run a mile straight on the track to see what she can do.
So, Letsrun, you're my only hope for guessing what she's capable of. Obviously this won't likely be tested, but i'm curious and just would like to see what you think.
I would think somewhere around 5:50 would be a safe bet? But I can't be sure, and if she had told me that she ran 5:50 at the track for a mile, before I saw her do this workout, I would have really doubted it.
