Okay. Now, calm down, whether he is running or not he is not and never was "keeping anyone out of the meet." We all know the decisions of who is in and out are always pretty arbitrary. They let every B standard athlete in. Now stop hating on Tegenkamp.

Indeed. No offense to the last qualifiers, but the main point of this meet is determining national champions and world's team athletes. Everything else is secondary. The truly "deserving runners" have all run fast enough to not be on the bubble, just like any other competitive sport. This ain't the local turkey trot where all the kids get to run and win medals...

Matt being there will make the race better and fun to watch.......he is a veteran of the sport, hard worker, and deserves the opportunity....so what he doesn't have much of a personally on camera.
