I get so angry.

Take the following situation:

We were discussing green energy and wind turbines came into discussion. Someone got VERY upset, citing that THEY KILL BIRDS. I then went on to forward many sources explaining that basically compared to windows, fires, power plants, cars, etc. the number of birds killed by wind turbines is next to zero. She got So MAD. And I remained non-combative and calm during the entire ordeal.

This mentality of stubborn shortsightedness extends to all aspects of these people's lives and they are the REAL burden holding back the USA.

I was raised to be respective of the environment. However, so many of the environmentalists today are completely unhinged and completely unreasonable. So many don't have a clue what they are talking about.

You're being a stuck in your position as she is in her's.

It's a tie. You're just doing it calmly. For her it is an emotional issue.

Okay, so...there's been a lot of press against Wind energy lately due to the killing birds issue.

Probably more study needs to be done.

And there are probably ways to deter the birds.

People like this need to understand that their lives would be no different if these birds lived or if they died due to evil wind turbines.

Actally there is a point to be made here. The EPA fines oil companies for causing the deaths of endangered birds but when socalled green energy firms like wind farms do the same they overlook it.

Environmental crazies...? Try talking to a social worker after getting their "masters degree" about policy and you'll have a new definition of "cannot be reasoned with."
