numbersguy – Thanks for the compliments. Solid week of base for you, sir. I’m a bit OCD too, which is why I leave the Garmin home most days. I usually only break it out for long days and use the “Badger miles” technique of keeping track of mileage the rest of the week.
easy weeks – Ideally, I’d like to be under 32:00. I will probably shoot for 31:30 and just try not to fall off too hard. Sorry to hear about the tough week. Stay positive dude and just keep on truckin’.
Bonham – Thanks man. That’s a ridiculous story about your race. Nice recap. Sorry to hear about that though. Nothing is more frustrating than getting ready to rip up a race just for something stupid to happen like that. Glad to hear cooler heads prevailed and everything worked out in the long run with the RD.
brum – Congratulations on the all the PBs! Yeah, I’m eager to race some shorter distances. Looking at the big picture, next fall/spring is when I'm hoping to really PB in everything from the 800 to the 10k.
VF – Sorry to hear about the tough week, but I appreciate your sense of humor about it! Speed and tempos over the summer is just what the doctor ordered (for both of us).
Feather – I know what you mean about the PM workouts. All my runs and especially my workouts are usually faster and more consistent later in the day after I’ve been up for a while and have ate a meal or two. Even with crappy days at work, I still run faster in the PM. Actually, I think some of those terrible days at work promote me running even faster during workouts! Talk about needing to vent sometimes.
