Yes, he is too skinny. He should look more like a man and less like a female supermodel.
I would have him do some crossfit style workouts (incl. sprints), that should also help avoid all the injuries he has been suffering from.

What catches me about that photo is not whether he is too skinny. It is that he looks completely dejected.
I know we all take some crappy pictures while running, but man, he just looks like he's given up in that picture. I don't know if it is giving up in that particular race (which I understand) or giving up on all of it as an athlete (maybe I'm reading too much into a single picture).
Anyway, it is striking and sad to me. I still root for the guy.
too sucks

if people are asking if you are too skinny, you have weight to lose. if people are confident you are sick looking, too thin, and probably have an eating disorder, you are likely ready to tear it up.
Sad but true. Should be Quote Of The Day!

+1
he is so homely
inside sourse told me he has azz hair transplated to head.
Or was he too fat?
He is aging like an old catchers mit. I didn't realize that Plugs would do that to you.

Nah, he's 30 yrs old and over the hill. Time for him to get a real job...
I think you need a college education for that...
Compare skinny Solinsky couple years ago to skinny Webb. Webb looks stressed and malnourished. Solinksy looked sharp and fit.
I can tell the stress of trying to get back to an elite level is taking its toll on Webb.
The man looks ill.
He does not look good at all. He is too skinny.
Go back and watch all his best race videos. He was really muscular and was a power runner.
He needs to get back to the power build he used to have.

And a kid and a divorce...he's got a lot going on
What? Divorce? Where did that come from? Maybe he's up late with the baby.

Might be some truth to this. If you watched the race, he kept running well past the line in almost a jog. He was not running all out. Probably packed it in to save it for another day.
As far as his hair, anyone ever heard of Graft-versus-host disease?
Re divorce:
I guess I was wrong...I could have sworn there were threads about this when he moved back to Portland this year...but I couldn't track them down or find anything on the web.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
