I'm down for that. I always feel like I'm in good 10k shape right after the new year.

I understand that Ritz is planning to race XC (as long as healthy), so that ups the comp. Cannot wait to go there, I'll be bringing up the back of the "old man's division" as long as we can have safe roads to travel on.
Wonder what the women's entry list looks like, and if Shalane will be trying for another WC medal.
you'd rather watch a 10K on the track with all americans than our top guys going over to europe and competing against the best of the word in races & conditions like this? you crazy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0J7QGcuOVU

It will be interesting to see how the race unfolds with these big names. It's time for Derrick to step up and get a Win, but he may just settle in for top few to qualify for the World XC meet.
Does anyone know if this meet will be live streamed?

Given this list it would not surprise me if Tegenkamp and Riley miss out of the team
My call for top-6:
Ritz
Derrick
Puskedra
Mack
Riley
Mead
Michael Jordan is running the USA cross country nationals? Assuming he's gonna have custom made Air Jordan spikes?
Michael Sheehan for the win. Ain't nobody gonna beat my boy.
No, he is the son of Manuel Falcon.

When was the last time Teg didn't make an international team?
i hope to god it rains for days before so you will all see how much of a shithole this course is when it gets wet. don't say i didnt warn you. they try to get spectator friendly courses that just run a bunch of loops and they end up holding it it dumb places like st. louis
bangalangadanga will be there!!!
if he runs this race like he did in the 2011 XC race there will be lots of guys ready to thrash him.
If Derrick has improved from his amazing senior season at Stanford, he will be eying his first national title. Well deserved.

Well Hassan Mead won't be one of them.
"Well Hassan Mead won't be one of them"
What prompted this response?

If you go back through their exchanges, you should be able to figure it out.
looks like there might be some more snow for race day. Nothing like a real challenge and a real atmosphere of xc.
Rosario and St Louis are doing it up well, Having "the Long Green Mile" the night before is a great addition, though I think it'd keep me up all night from getting too pumped up too soon! Thanks to all in St Louis that are helping it out! ML
if anyone wants to meet banga, let me know!! i'm looking forward to meeting some lets runners if possible.
I'll be there banga, predict how many miles I'll run before the meet!
