Will we see any Sarah Baxter/Mary Cain match ups in the 1600/3200 in track? I can only imagine how fast that race will be...I'm guessing around 10 flat maybe a bit under (9:55). Don't leave out Finn, Rohrer, Frazier...etc. Nationals?

I doubt it... Baxter is a 3200m+ type runner, while Cain is a 800/1500 type runner. But those aren't the only two awesome runners out there, and there are bound to be some great matchups in a few races - maybe NBON, but more likely at the Dream Mile and USATF.
Will Baxter show in St.Louis in a little less than 4 weeks time? Obviously I doubt Cain will but Sarah may. The "junior watch list" has a ton of names but I doubt they will get even ten percent to show up.
With WCC in Poland that isn't the greatest incentive to try and qualify for college fr. like Hollander either.
Who are baxter and cain?
I seriously doubt Baxter will be there. Her coach takes a very conservative approach to her schedule, and that's pre-season track as far as he's concerned. I think the first big one you will see her at is Arcadia. The best best for another big-time meet is something post-CA HS season like NBON.
Not only that, the qualifying meet is in St Louis. I doubt she will want to fly all the way out there, and then fly to Poland one month later. If it was in San Diego then I think she would consider doing it.
I think Hollander might (be in SL). The Jr. race could be epic if Baxter showed: she doesn't have to go to Poland.
I would imagine USATF will try and make it happen.
I honestly think that Hollander could outrun her with her past collegiate races so far. A 19:12 6k is out of this world. It would be an epic battle though.
What a dumb thread.
This is nike's retarded way of trying to build up their mudfest in the middle of nowhere.
If jumbo & dumbo had been the first 2, nike would be flooding the boards asking people where are they going.
USATF does not make anything happen. They are sanctioning body that puts on championship events. They do not arrange match races for high school athletes.
It's exciting to watch up-and-comers but lets remember that these are young adults with homework and homecomings to think about. Sarah Baxter shouldn't be focused on racing Laura Holander to get Poland in the middle of the high school track season.
