Based off these four workouts done within the last week and a half...
A) 3x2000m in 6:13, 6:14, 6:15 (went through 1600 in 5:01, 5:00, 5:02). With 3 minutes rest after first one, 4 minutes after second. First in trainers, last 2 in spikes.
B) 7 miles around 5:50 avg. pace, cutting down the pace halfway through and really bringing it down to 5:10-5:20 pace last mile and a half
C) 8 miles at 5:45 pace, felt fine
D) 2 x (8 x 300m) with 1 minute rest, first 8 in flats in 48, 51, 49, 49, 47, 47, 46, 45, then about 8 minutes between the next set where I got in spikes and easy 800m, then 48, 47, 46, 45, 44, 43, high 42, mid-high 43. The last two were given 2.5 minutes rest. Also important to note about this workout is that I paced off someone for every interval except the last 2 (the 42 and 43) so obviously factor pacing/drafting into it (it wasn't windy). I averaged 46.25 for the 16 x 300m.
Sorry for the long post. What would you estimate my 1600m/3200m would be right now? Obviously it's only winter training so I plan on improving by track, and this thread is just for fun (who doesn't like predicting stuff!). Thanks!
