After yet another of his male runners lift "pink weights" comments, I'm replying to XFit_guy_the_real_one_1 by re-posting this:
I've nothing against crossfit - except the goofy, teeth- and chin-endangering manner of doing pullups, but I would rather hear from women about what they admire in the male physique rather than what you think they admire, XFit_guy_the_real_one_1. I'm 50 years old and ran competitively from age 15 until about 40. I recall at age 24 how young women admired me when I measured 6'3" and about 165 pounds. I'm now about 173 pounds. When I emerge from the pool at my gym, I've got a lot of women checking me out, and it's not because I have spinach stuck to my teeth. Now, like many runners here, I've done some strength work. I'm grateful for my years of running. Yes, sometimes running was a chore, but more often it was a joy.
I'm not a playboy, and I'll try to keep this on an anatomical and physiological plane rather than on a sleezy level, but there's one more thing: I'll bet the male runners on this forum have better erectile function than the typical male crossfitter. I know my erectile function is excellent.
Please stop teasing us and being so obnoxious.
