No, it was not the flu (almost none of those playing football or running XC with the 'flu' have influenza, but just some kind of cold or other virus). I think it was menstrual in origin and not treated in the manner that she usually treats it (based on a reply comment when I commented that she had been sick overnight or in the morning of the race.
She controlled this race as I predict she will in Louisville.
Unless Jordan was on fire, I don't think she was running with the flue.
If she was at a top #10 academic school and had to study how would have she placed ?
Flu is not synonymous with being ill or sick.If she really had the flu, she would still be recovering.
