I hope he was joking the LR trolls about putting on 20 lbs. I thought that was really strange. Also from stalking fb it looks like he went to europe in the summer but I didn't see any results for him.

Just a typical 800m coach that treats his 800m guy like a sprinter. No long runs or any type of endurance for his runner, just using up the talent.
Or, it could be the fact that you have a talented runner that you need to get through school, indoor and outdoor seasons that are very competitive and into an Olympic Trials.
Hope he can get stronger and get strength to get through rounds at the next US Champs.
And Nick Symmonds is still the US 800m Champ. Someone has yet to beat him at the US Champs and Trials. I see many possibilities.

Yes, indeed. As the other guy noted, if more trained like Snell realised he needed to, then (even) more success would come their way.
people forget that many high school kids who do not do cross country and just lift for workouts run sub 2:00. So is it really sup rising that an talented guy can run ~1:45 off running 5 days a week?
how about until the USADA ACTUALLY RELEASES the case against him you stop calling him a drug cheat. just because hes better than you at your own sport and has one ball bigger than both of yours combined hes a drug cheat? the UCI hasent even gotten a chance to see the case and the USADA wont release it to the public. know why? because there is no case. its a load of shit. Armstrong is innocent.
