I’m gonna play this prompt a bit differently, and pick one for each of five categories.
Also, my picks aren’t my definitive choices and I didn’t deliberate for too long, since the exercise is impossible.
Actress - Jane Fonda ca. Barbarella (1968)
Athlete - Allison Stokke (I was 14 when she went viral, so for me she’s something of a legend and a sentimental pick)
Musician - Linda Ronstadt ca. 1970s (Ok I probably don’t believe this but I respect her musicianship and she was gorgeous)
Politician/public servant - Alejandra Campoverdi (would be a better pick if she’d won her congressional campaign)
Swimsuit/lingerie model - Irina Shayk (this category is obviously sorta like “take your pick” but Shayk in the 2009 SI Swimsuit Issue had a profound effect on me)
