Every time I see Blake act like he has claws I cringe. It feels like his coach or agent forced him to come up with some sort of nickname and pose to brand himself. I don't know what else a beast would do, but please make it stop. It is by far the lamest celebratory pose I've seen.

...yeah. The Beast needs to go. I though Bolt gave him that nickname because he wins workouts pretty regularly. I bet Bolt did it to sabatage.
I have to agree with others that the beast pose needs to go. The nickname itself is cool but the pose is silly. When I first saw it at the Olympics I thought, 'WTF is he doing?' I guess Bolt started a trend and all the top sprinters, and Mo, are going to want a signature pose. Blake needs a new one though.

The fact that he grows out his finger nails to have said "claws" is so gross and just humiliating for the sport (I assume that's why he has such long finger nails, if not... bro, take care of those). Why does sprinting have to be such a show?
It's just trying to gain his own trademark to have a fraction of the success that Bolt's had. Unfortunately, it's way too obvious and not cool.
