Yeah I wasn't planning on running the thing any time soon anyway. What worries me is the effect that NYC will have on other races. Is there going to be an overall trend of races constantly shitting on their customers because of the sheer amount of people who want to do them? I'd like to run one of these big city marathons one day just for the experience but I want to run one fast and not have to pay out the ass for it.
Anyway, the smaller races will always have better customer service because they actually rely on repeat customers. For anyone looking for a fall marathon, I've literally never heard a bad thing about the Freedom's Run Marathon
