What are you thoughts about this shoe for everyday training? I run around 50 miles a week. Thanks.

My son is a soccer player, but he picked up the Pegasus 29 for his summer running workouts (six days a week). He likes how light and flexible the shoe is, so when he's doing 200s on grass it's easy to get on the balls of his feet. Every other day he's at the gym, beginning with a 30 minute aerobic run and there he likes the cushioning.
I haven't run in anything but Nike's flats and spikes for years but I tried on the new Pegasus and Free the other day. I don't know how people can stand running in those. It feels like running on a pillow covered in sand.
agree 100% ~
I've run exclusively in racing flats for 9 years, and I think the Pegasus 28s are fantastic (esp. compared to when I wore them 10+ years ago). I was pleasantly surprised-- I haven't been able to run in trainers for years until now. The companies have really caught on with making them more flexible. The next step will be lowering the heel (although I don't notice the heel lift in the Pegasus).
What shoe would you recommend for those of you that say they have to much cushion? How about the nike free 3.0 v4? I'm looking for a shoe to train for a marathon, and doing around 50 miles per week
I bought pair last week and so far I love them. I pretty much always buy the Pegasus for everyday trainers so I'm a fan of the line in general. I actually think the Pegasus 29 is one of the best they have had out in years.
For anyone who trains/runs mostly in Pegasus 29s, what other shoe do you rotate in?
I run in the Nike air Pegasus 29 and I think its a great for a trainer. Although Itthought the 28s were better. By the way I run 70 miles per week, I like all the cushion because its great for higher mileage
I loved the Pegasus but through the years have transitioned away from them to the LunaRacer flats. They are a great shoe--taken me through many marathons and still have several pairs around the house.
If you are looking for a "faster feeling shoe" with a similar cushion, I'd recommend giving the Nike Zoom Elites a try. This is my go to shoe now when I want some cushion for my runs since I stopped running in the Pegasus's.
I never liked spinach--how 'bout you guys?
I still do my wkouts in my Chuck Taylors--they are lite
Eat whatever you like. But eat it with me. I'll even cook for you.
Come on! That never happens. better take advantage of it. Come here now. YOu are one your way to see me.
I've used them as everyday trainers for quite a few years now. I run 70+ a week and they work great. Another bonus is that they, most likely, aren't going to discontinue production since they have a nice streak going.
I also work in runs with the Adidas Adios a few times a week.
Nike Zoom Elites are indeed nice
