Dunno about that. 2 more metres and she's a disappointed silver medallist.

what sort of psychological problems make you identify belief in an athlete with homosexuality?

Wow no front page or headline and such a rare achievement by any American! If it was Mary Cain it would be quote of the day/headline for at least a week.
cool, congrats, ajee!!! helluva run
If Amy Weissenbach won gold she would have made the front page. In fact, Weissenbach received frontpage treatment when she ran 2:02 at the state meet last year.
I could see the delay in putting the win on the front page but over 24 hours later and nothing.
Letsrun you guys are totally off the mark on this one but you got Debbie Dunn news up in a few hours.
Give Ajee some love!
You do know it's on there and has been for a while, yep?
Don't know what video you saw but Ajee Wilson thought she had Jessica Judd put away and she maintained her pace thru the line while J.J put on one last ditch effort. Ajee even stated if needed she had another gear the last 100m but that mentally lapse did make the finish closer then it should have been.
Trollim your a joke. Ajee ran only as fast as required to win and was a picture of total relaxation the entire race even the last 100m.

shhhhh! don't let facts get in the way of another anti-racist rally!
The achievement should be placed in the center just like any other impressive rare acievement not on the far right o the page under some ad.
GET SERIOUS how often do an American win two World Championship titles in a year against International competition.

World Championships against international competition? What a strange concept. Why not just have purely American world championships like in baseball?
If it ain't broke...

The answer to the question: "what does Ajee have to do to grab headlines on Letsrun?" is this: be white, unfortunately. If Ajee Wilson was white, she'd get the full star treatment. Typical LR racism. But really.
No doubt. If Mary Cain had done this that would be all anyone was talking about on Letsrun

The girl was flat out. Just because she said she could have busted a 1:55 if she needed it, doesn't mean she actually could.
So true! Not only is trollism a joke but so is the objectivity of Letsrun.

Are you Ajee's mother or something? I never said that she didn't deserve the gold, I only had issues with your implication that she destroyed the field, when undoubtedly she would have lost if the race was 2 metres longer.
She wouldn't have had chance to react.
Maybe she is a whole load better than Judd, but then she got complacent.
Very impressive result from Ashley Spencer today in the 400m at 50.50! Now that is world class and often close to a medal at (senior) world championships. She has apparently improved a huge amount, and her fellow American Erika Rucker in third place ran 51.10, apparently a nearly 3 second improvement from last year. Spencer is 19 and Rucker is almost 19. Spencer ran the sixth fastest time ever by a junior, 2nd ever by an American junior behind Sanya Richards-Ross, and the fastest time by a junior since Richards in 2004. If she improves by 1 second in her career, she will likely take some world gold medals.
