I'm going to be a college senior this fall, and I was planning on rolling out some quality mileage this summer. I have been up to 100 before, but only as a one-two week thing, with most of my time spent around 85mi/wk. However, in order to (hopefully) go out with a good last season, I am planning on running a bunch of 100 mile weeks this summer. But when would be the best time to start hitting that amount? I was thinking I would spend June getting to 100, and then spend July-August at 100 miles with every third week being a down week. Or should I not hit that much until late August? What do you think?
