He says a big reason he left was for the Big 12 competition. Of course, you can speculate beyond that.

It sounded like his team was probably partying too hard for Riley.
Isn't it because Riley graduated from Maine?
C'mon people. He broke up with his girlfriend and he was gone. Read between the lines. Geez, I thought this forum was all about the gossip. Whatever.
Huh. I guess Maine wasn't... the life of Riley
oh yeah
I wonder would a non-runner would take away from it. As a runner, it's always fun to see any form of entertainment promoting the sport.
I think a nonrunner would be totally lost throughout and wouldn't get the significance of most of it. Like when it shows Merber and Van Ingen in the Wanamaker Mile, a nonrunner would wonder why they showed that if they got beat by all those other guys. And when they showed the NCAA XCs there's a lot of footage of Chris Derrick from afar, a nonrunner wouldn't know to look out for a Stanford jersey.
Anyone know when the video switched from a free view to a pay-to-watch / pay-to-download?
Just today I was discussing the film with some ppl and figured it'd still be free since it was free when it first got released... but I was wrong.
