Since the ACR stuff is Track and Field News ratified, LR should just make their own rules and list their own records. Would be pretty cool and could trump those track geezers over there.

Who cares about American Collegiate Records. If America wants to do well internationally we need to stop being so stuck up and disrespectful to other nations. One record suffices. No American born or American records should exist. It should be either you run the fastest time ever by a collegiate or you don't.
It's like saying after the 2011 World Champs, "here you go Centro, you get the American born gold medal because the first two athletes were Kenyan." That doesn't fly internationally and it shouldn't fly in America. Let's stop patting ourselves on the back for everything and start setting higher standards. Then maybe an American born kid can achieve a collegiate record if they have the talent and work ethic.
Rupp shows up at every championship. Who cares if he didn't run some pre-national xc race or some early season time trial? He wins at USAs and he doesn't shy away from the competition at worlds or the olympics. He's gotten burned a few times at the championships but he is always in there as long as he can handle. He doesn't sit back and run his race, he runs like he is equal and trying to win.

*if he toes the line...
*if he stays on his feet...
*if Alberto mixes his Gerber correctly
Qualifying Andrews for a American Collegiate Record would qualify Jager for the record as well. He would be a fifth year senior at Wisconsin and takes classes at Portland. Not that he has ran American Collegiate times but look at what you are saying...

Think he's still enrolled in UVa

He's still a college student and he's not a pro right?
Andrews was great but my god Rupp and Farah are scary as well.
Rupp just keeps getting better and better.
Wheating have run faster. It doesn't matter if he were pro or not, he was still in college and therefore do have the fastets college time.
