All respondents other than Stache have apparently accepted my facts and arguments, as they present none of their own in contradiction.
Stache--
Solinskrap should absolutely TRY to run at trials, for the glory of participation. It is an honor and a privilege, second only to participation in the games themselves.
I never said he should go as hard as he can. If he could make the team with less, he should do less. If not, then yes, he should go as hard as he can--or he should at least TRY to go as hard as he can. The POS isn't even TRYING.
There is the Olympics, then there is everything else; and the Olympics is the greater of the two. The inter-Olympic years are mere filler. Career? What "career"? Plus why "end"? What's going to happen, is his leg going to fall off and be irreparably run over by a tank?
He HAS no career right now. He HAS a couple of results.
THERE IS NO TOMORROW FOR SOLINSKRAP. IT IS NOW OR NEVER, AND IT IS NOT NOW. I PREDICTED THIS A YEAR AGO ALREADY, AND EVERYTHING IS AS I PREDICTED. HE WILL NEVER DO ANYTHING SIGNIFICANT AND POSITIVE, ON ANY SIGNIFICANT OCCASION, EVER AGAIN.
Why some of you guys continue to support this quitter I have no idea, unless you are personal friends. There are so many more deserving athletes to support. Life's too short, which is something of which Solinskrap is currently blissfully unaware.
Stache, do you think I've never run a 4x400 in the thick of things?
Q: Are you a puss?
A: Heather Dorniden.
