Haven't seen the race, just the results. How did he look out there?

"Freddy Ovett @FreddyOvett
O.k 1:52:83 opener at the #OregonTwilight. Paid the price for wearing my hip number too high by being put back a place on the result sheet!"
He is in the orange.
Looks like he closed well.
Seems he's about where Wheating was timewise as a frosh, ?
Freddy has done way more training than Wheating had as a Frosh, so not the best comparison.

From what I have read, it is not clear that Freddy has done way more training than Wheating at that/this stage... Freddy was involved in a lot of other sports and dabbled in track and field.
I don't think there is a definitive article / history out on Freddy's training over the years...
He seems good but nothing that indicates he could be good at the world stage. His father was already kicking butt at this age. He might be better off trying longer distances.
I've had first hand experience being around this kid on the track, his dad purposely undertrained him, his running consisted of like 30 miles a week, wind sprins and some track workouts..... Is dad was training harder at his age.
