I began my running career 14 months ago and my coach said that at least for now my best results will come in the 5K.
In March 2011 I ran my first 5K in 29:45,and gradually improved,every week,every month.
In May I ran it in 24:50.During the summer I trained very hard and at the national championships,in July I ran it in 20:14,which is my PB.Then autumn came,trained less and only managed to run a 23:00 in October.During winter i got out of shape and in February when i began to train hard again i got a 26:20.Since then things improved and 2 days ago i ran the 5K in 21:56 which is my SB.
However,i want to get under 19 this year.Any advice for a 16 years old runner??I appreciate your feedback.Thanks!
