well he is listed in the 1500m sheet, be curious to see if he runs and if so what time. would think anything in 3:40-3:45 would even be good given he ran the 800 earlier same day.
Nah... I bet he'll run slower than 3:50.

Yes. Agreed.
His head is physically wrong with him.
this made me laugh^
As a runner who would also get trounced by the high school version of himself, I'm rooting for Webb now more than ever.
^ This x 1,000 haha.
i agree with former all american's points. let's face it we all deep down root for webb because he is the most talented and accomplished US middle distance runner for decades. that is why he gets so much scrutiny as well. but lets be honest his performance today was dismal.

quoted for emphasis!
How long have I been saying this?
WEBB, MOVE TO THE STEEPLE.
There is still time to qualify for trials, and frankly the only barrier to the team is the A standard as sure as hell nobody but Fam is going to be challenging Webb.
The scary and bizarre conclusion that seems evident after ten or so years of watching Webb is, that he would probably be best off going back to Raz...Racz...Rakz... by going back to his high school coach.
Where is Jason Vig to answer for this atrocity??
Hey, COACH, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THIS GUY??
I've known some excellent local runners who have had sudden declines in energy and performance for over a year, and then who suddenly return to their previous performance levels.
The docs never figure it out. Kind of like plantar faciitis- it leaves as mysteriously as it arrives.
It's got to be frustrating for Webb to be running like this, when he knows he's capable of so much more.
I'm rooting for the guy to come back to prominence.
Ummm...Alan Webb is the person who holds the American record in the mile?!? He's not slow! HE'S NOT SLOW AT ALL!!! WAIT WHAT????????????????????????????????????????
But Alan Webb is NOT slow? WHAT????????????????????
This thread is so wackadoocrazy!!!
I just realised Webb's problem. He doesn't lift anymore. Look at the photos of the 5k. He's wasting away.
Hit the squat rack Mr Webb. Pump out some bicep curls.
