I think you mean another running forum which is civil. Because the way you wrote that implies letsrun is civil and we know that is pure foolishness.
Hey moron, it's case in point. Got it moron?

Careful there, throwing around the "you're so stupid you must still be in high school" defense.
"Case and point" is a nonsense phrase. You meant to say, "case in point."
I dunno.
"case and point" makes more sense to me than "case in point". How is a case in a point?

don't you mean "all intents and purposes" ???
The Dane-type threads are the worst part of Letsrun. Pages and pages of posts by the same 2 or 3 obsessive antisocial idiots about some obscure, mediocre runner with a blog. I'm glad the mods have started deleting them.
Besides, I've gotten much better injury advice here than you'll find anywhere else. Dozens of people have had the same injury and can tell you all the exercises that worked. Elsewhere people just tell you to try this new thing called minimalism ("Have you ever heard of this book called Born to Run?") or ice.

Letsrun is 4chan for runners.
Not even close.
Similar to /fit/ in a lot of ways, only without all the latent homosexuality.
It's not rocket appliances

this grammar-nazi argument, in the middle of a thread about how letsrun is full of childish prats, is absolutely brilliant!
Of course they are going to hate letsrun! The yoggers want to feel like they are part of the running community, they run for enjoyment or to lose weight. While they are part of the yogging community, there is a difference between those athletes who are competitive and those who think they are.
When they come on here and no one cares about their 4xmile at 8:00 pace, they are a little offended...but who cares?!
this is my favorite yogger read:
If you run for weight loss, you aren't a competitive runner, you are someone trying to lose weight.

Your kidding, right?
There are other running sites?

Though, I'm sure a sophomore would be insulted by your reply.

What are some other running forums?
This one is quite stupid the majority of the time and all the best information is found in the search from a few years ago. I already go to RW. Are there any other good ones that people are halfway busy?
There are several running sites I frequent: my local track, trails in the hills, four different parks, and several more. I like variety in the sites I do my runs in.
Most of the "running community" doesn't even know letsrun exists.

Are you really this dense? Or are you trolling?

There is no such thing as the running community.
Iused to post on indianarunner until I found this website. Indianarunner has no trolling, stupidly hilarious threads, elitist running culture, wealth of knowledge, or generally all the things that make letsrun great! I learned a lot from this website and I'm sure it will help me pr for years to come.

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
