Just thought I would start up a thread for the New England area, especially with regionals last weekend. Williams a surprise drop to 4th, and a very strong performance from Bates to beat MIT.

Ben Scheetz is on another planet compared to everyone in the region, and quite possibly, all of DIII
He's sitting like 5th in both the 400 and the 800. Might he be better suited to run the mile/400/dmr/ 4x400 at nattys rather than the 4/8/4x4?
I am picking LEC champs UMD to take home the prize money!
It will be interesting to see what he does, I think he should go for the 800/mile double, but maybe he and his coach will decide not to and maybe do mile/4x4. or he'll beast a 800/mile/4x4 anchor triple.
I'm also excited to see what will come of the 5k with the top end guys being together at such a fast time.
Hardly, Hutton ran low 1:49 indoors on a flat track. Scheetz not even the the best in d3.Lets see what happens when yall venture down there to Iowa.

and scheetz just ran a 1:49 after a 49 400 and 2:28 1000 at NED3's, if he went 1 event he'd win it easy.
yes lets see what happens when we're stuck at another shitty midwest flat track because apparently the entire midwest cant afford a banked one

I thought it was 1:51, going out in 51, back in 59, but I could be wrong. I don't think he would win both, but I think he is the best 800 runner in d3.
Franklin PIERCE FTW!!!!!!
Scheetz is the best 800/miler in D3 hands down. He ran 4:03 in his first real attempt at a fast mile, and last year he ran 1:48 in the 800 at open NE's. One would imagine he's going to run faster this weekend.
will there be live results posted anywhere for the new england championships today and tomorrow? i don't see a link on the NEICAAA website, anywhere else i should check?

That joke is so 2011. Franklin Pierce is actually creating a team. What are you going to do then?
Really impressive 800 depth today by d3.
3 Scheetz, Ben Amherst 1:51.26Q
6 Marvel, Jeff Tufts 1:51.43Q
11 Melton, Matt Amherst 1:52.04
12 Manning, Ben Southern Mai 1:52.07
13 Nisky, Dylan Colby 1:52.33
16 Parker, Samuel MIT 1:52.98
only Manning and Scheetz are seniors, so the 800 should be quite fast in the years to come. Nisky and Melton sophs, Parker just a freshman.
Midd runs a very quick DMR (9:53).
couple solid 5k's.
3 LeDuc, Michael Conn College 14:38.15 6
6 Hoyt, Kevin Keene State 14:40.04 3
7 Graboys, Noah Bates 14:43.90 2
Any results from the meet today? Finals 'n such?
Some good miles:
7 Hannon, Kyle MIT 4:06.42
9 Rose, Connor Tufts 4:08.65
