Jacob Burcham. He's run the equivelant of a 4:04.7 mile and still has 2 years left. If he doesn't have a career ending injury he's practically a lock to go sub 4 before the end of high school. Perhaps this year.

The question you're asking is impossible to answer. Anyone whose name is posted has necessarily been discovered at least by the person posting the name.

Check out the South Boys Foot Locker team.
They had 5 jrs on the team.
My guess is another Kenyan who will appear out of nowhere, barely speak English, and will win Foot Locker/NXN after the current group graduates. Might sound cynical but that has certainly been the trend the past few years.
one ia a trend where you live?
Eric Costen. 4:40 and 2:12 double on a horrible track. Also ran 10:10 in xc for the full 2.
Steven Fahy...La Costa Canyon. Soph. You have heard of his brother, but I bet he goes 9:15 this year and sub 9:00 the next 2 years. Future CA State Champion in XC/3200.
this kid is boss. nevermind the time, 12th place in this race is no joke for a HS soph.
