For some reason this seems to happen to me often. In practice I may be tired, and training to hit a slower time because I'm not in shape to run a specific time, yet I always run much faster than my practice times indicate. Last year I was running for only 2 light weeks after not running for 5 months... Broke 2 minutes in the 800. Does this just mean that I'm not pushing myself harder during practice? Because I feel sufficiently tired during hard workouts.
