overdistance creates speed
"I was an average runner in high school, around 4:15 for the mile and 9:15 for 2 miles"

No it didn't.
>>>>>>Haha, no sh*t....too funny. You know that crap hurt!
In college ran a lot of 10 milers in 54-56 min and honestly they weren't that bad. Now 6 in 30 was a lot harder. Once you build a big enough base you can run at your threshold pace forever.
"Today was a lazy day. Only ran once"
\"I was sure it was just a fart\"
"I haven't done any speed work yet."
"I was boxed in" (when nobody was around)

I was inspired by this thread and the whole sh1t ___say movement. So I made a video. Its not quite the same as the fast paced comments of typical sh1t _ _say videos so it should be more like "dumb comments runners talk about." I've received some pretty negative feedback and ratings on youtube already - but I figure you only learn through constructive criticism...so thats why I'll share it here:

Haha I thought it was pretty funny and lame at the same time. Kinda weird when you touched your boob in that one part though.
Run, run, as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the runnin' man. Well I say that.

That was great. Was the glasses guy supposed to be Higdon? Or just an amalgam of old marathoners? The "cross-fit" guy (I'll call him that) was really funny, as was the woman. Both of them rang true.
Elites really aren't that funny, because most of what they say is just true. Fernando Cabada is pretty funny, because he is like a caricature of a cocky, superstar distance runner.
Nice work overall. I need to get your book soon.
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. Yeah, well it was weird
