Colorado
I just saw him in Flagstaff training with his brother Dick.
I am assuming you are talking about former UNC runner Jake Hurysz.
I heard he had accepted a scholarship to Colorado without evening visiting the school. I think he took an official to Ok State and somewhere else but went to Colorado without even visiting.

He is with is brother, Richard
Seems like the transition to CU has been working out for him. He just got a big 13:38 PR yesterday.
Hurtsz is only 2 years out of high school.
I was very impressed with his 8:49 win at Arcadia.
It's great to see him running so well 2 years later.
Plus he won the race.

Unbelievable what a few months at Colorado did for Hurysz. Not that he wasn't doing pretty well at UNC (individual qualifier in XC) but nothing to suggest a 13:38 was on the immediate horizon. If he would have been a little closer to the front it could have been even faster.
He's got a lot more than 13:38 in him. His last 200 was around 27. Dirty!
