Your intent may not be negative, but your comments certainly are. There seems to be a pervasive attitude on this board that eating disorders are the result of a weakness of character, and that anorexic athletes deserve whatever health problems they may develop. Anorexia nervosa is a mental illness, like schizophrenia, depression, or bipolar disorder, and Amber Trotter appears to have made tremendous strides to overcome her problems. I think it's very callous of you to shrug your shoulders and compare the situation to a car wreck.
