Just saying, but SLC put 7 in before Cedar Park's #1 (Herbert).
Arcadia only put 4 in front of him @ Woodbridge.
I think SLC is definitely overlooked here if you are putting Arcadia in front of them.
Great ideas! So- called bias toward consistently top performing regions could also be mitigated by granting byes to the top two finishing teams from the previous year. With all the underclassmen on these teams, they don't change so significantly from one year to the next to make this unreasonable. Two years ago East Aurora came in 4th in NY and got no bid, though they beat both NE teams receiving auto bids, same course same day -- but FM and Toga took NY's top 2 spots, as usual. They then went to Oregon for the open race, and merged results with the championship race had them 11th overall.
course looks to be sloppy - no rain at race time, but it is going to rain all night - that should hurt the southern californians. eg baxter.

Isn't that where the true problem lies? For instance, South, Southwest and Southeast should be merged into two regions.
No offense, but you're an idiot. The SW teams have done very well at nationals. Since the regional qualifying meets started, look at how the SW teams have finished at NXN. Both auto qualifers have finished in the top 10 each of the last 3 years and the SW went 2-3 in 2007. The only off year was 2008. CA continues to get at-large bids and they continue to underperform. There are 2 regions that consistently run well at NXN: MW and SW. And guess which one didn't get an at-large bid? One at-large from the SW in 5 years, Cali has nine.
Why does Wesley Frazier run unattached?

Will be no problem for Baxter.
Look for the Davis girls to sneak into the top 5. Go Darts!
american fork has bombed in every year they've been 'favorites' or predicted to place high. just sayin
Pulling for Baxter on individual girls; FM girls continue to win.
Ryan should win boys; pulling for SL Carroll boys team; such a close race with CBA last year.
The best swimming tam will win today, based upon the weather forecast.
I'm pulling for a double win from South lake Carroll today! I wouldn't be surprised for the strong teams of NY doing really well and The guys is a toss up.

I actually agree with your prediction. I think anyone not putting the SLC girls in the top 5 is insane.
I think the NXN south course has been underrated. I guess we will find out really soon.

4. Arcadia
1. Montoya
2. Leingang
