Wool socks, wool running shirts, wool running tights. The best stuff there is.

Buy yourself a good training book off that list. Daniels or Pfitzinger, depending on what distance you are focusing on. Definitely worth it.
I would suggest some Power Socks or edible gels and bars. Everyone loves food. Also check out http://www.giftideasformen.com
I used to get a training log every x-mas eve as a stocking stuffer.
good stuff in here, I'm hoping for a forerunner this year.

Any suggestions?
I was thinking maybe a Kindle Fire, it might get me to read more, especially in between my classes when I normally just waste time on the internet (Letsrun).
http://amzn.to/pFvMA2I'm thinking the Fire since I could watch movies on it too, but I've heard that the original Kindles are better because the screen is more like a real book.
The Fire apparently has some bugs to be worked out in the near future. I have a regular Kindle, which I bought in February. Normally a voracious reader, I have read something like three dozen books on the Kindle since then. The screen looks like paper, no glare, even in bright sun. I find that I no longer have half a dozen books going at a time, as was my long-time habit.I no longer waste time browsing in bookstores, of which there are increasingly few, anyway. I thought I would miss the tactile feeling of books, but not so. In fact, I realized that some books were off-putting before because of their physical nature (too thick for page size, etc.) I'm thinking if you want to read, get a read-only. If you want a tablet to watch movies on, etc., you will probably watch movies or surf the web, the same things you waste time on now instead of reading.
Ipad
The "Mario and Sonic at the London Olympics 2012" on wii. Can't go wrong there...
My other suggestion; gift card to your favorite running store or online i.e.; Puma, Nike, RRS...
Otherwise, lots of good suggestions from others.
Get Skyrim, best game ever: http://amzn.to/u8bQhy

Good call. You can buy them on The Clymb too. You get $10 when you join The Clymb, might just end up with some annoying emails until you cancel your subscription.

If you're in a cold weather state, you can never have enough cold weather gear. Personally I prefer underarmour. As many, despite much evidence to the contrary on this board, runners are intelligent, a good running book makes a great stocking stuffer. A few of my favorites are Daniels'Running Formula for training and Running with the Buffalos for non-fiction story and Chasing Ghosts for fiction.
Socks are nice too.
Books, tons of them. Or movies. Good stuff. Read Daniels, Lydiard, Pfitzinger.

The Two-Year Runner's Journal would be a great stocking stuffer!
Anyone have a recommendation for some wind briefs to protect the old b-sack this winter?
Box of 500 multivitamin pills from Costco.
I have some real last minute shopping to do for my girlfriend, she just got into running about a year ago. What should I buy her?
