Bump for wherethefwasENMU?
Wouldn't talk so much this summer and next fall if I were you guys. Easy to get excited about your team, trust me, I know, but it just makes you guys look foolish. Boulder might have not been right about his boys but he nailed you guys on the head pretty well.
Excited to see how the contest went. I think I got a good chance at bringing in the W.
Just got the link from wejo for the results. You won if you double as "gunnison kid"

I'm pissed, Gunnison Kid didn't even have Mines in his top 10 and he still won the contest. Wow, no respect!
I did pretty well on the women's side, 506 pts, but my bias crushed me on the men's side, 134 pts.
As for ENMU / South Central Region. I actually was kind of wrong about the region in general. That region had 4 All Americans, just none of them were from ENMU. I do remember a guarantee that ENMU would have 3 themselves. Hmmm, are there ramifications for making guarantees like that?
I don't blame them for getting psyched on their team. It's easy. But now they know "I guarantee" should never be in a sentence about cross country and nationals should never underestimated.
I won the team portion! I was the only person that had Augie winning the women....since I am GA here that makes sense haha.
After spending some time geeking out...I've came up with my probable idiotic hypothetical finishes if Western and Adams would have been in the D1 race.
My guesses.....
Western first...
Haebe 20-30
Pennel 20-30
Goodman 55-65
Proctor 60-65
Blackman 100-110
Adams
Bond 50-60
Stevens 55-65
Calmes 105-115
Cruz 120-130
Sellers 145-155
Not sure how many individuals you'd have to take out....and remember...the spacing between these athletes would be a lot more in the D1 race.
But my guess is Western would have been 9th, and Adams would have been 16th.
As much as I respect GV's program I didn't configure them into the race as I think they would have been on the fringe of making the meet.
Will look into the girls soon(ish).
I gave a spread of only 10 but it's very possible that guys like Goodman, Bond and Stevens should be more like 70+ guys but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
