They're both pretty mediocre. Run a legitimate time at any weight and report back please.
Assuming 2 seconds per mile per pound. 20 pounds yields 40 seconds per mile * 3.1 = 16:20. Don't think it's that much of a difference, but, I'd go with the fatty 5k. I was assuming all 20 extra pounds were fat by the way. If 10 was muscle, the times are about the same...give or take a little.
18:38 at 170 might be the more impressive (in a certain very limited sense) if the gain was entirely fat, however some of it was probably muscle.
You should lose 20 lbs and then see what you can do. You might even come back on this thread and let us know! Good luck!
