Have some respect!
Who put you in charge of what a thon can be called? I didn't get the memo. Please post a link to the memo. Thanks.
What the blazes is a thon.
Two thons and you'd have a pair of sandals or underwear.
"Race"?! ... with whom? The grim reaper maybe. Thats about it.
Regardless, still impressive.
It will be interesting to see if ed whitlock can hang with this 100 year old's stats in time
Fauja Singh at 10K in 1:44:03. 16:45 pace. Projecting a finish time of 7:20. How long is the course open for?
Keep the updates coming, exciting stuff! It's like cheering for a tortoise - slow and steady!

According to the website, the course is open for 6 hours.
For a guy who went thru a 10k in 1:45, it doesn't seem like he'd make it in 6 hours.
Ed Whitlock just finished in 3:15:51, winning the 70+ age category.
I'd expect that just means they'll move runners to the sidewalks but keep the finish line open. The race director would be a fool to not give him a finish time if he can cover the distance.
Ed Whitlock's 3:15:51 at age 80 is an age-graded 2:02:08.
Not bad.
Singh through 20K in 3:43.
Ed Whitlock just simply astounds me.
How much will he slow down in 20yrs????

Totally awesome.
Mr Singh through the 30k in 5:36. Still moving forward. Pretty awesome.

Just saw him and his entourage. Was excellent. He is driving forward - amazing determination.

FAUJA SINGH 1:44:03 3:43:39 5:36:00 6:25:46
35K in 6:25. I just can't imagine a 100 year old person moving continuously for over 6 straight hours, running or not. Pretty incredible.
I take it he's still on the course and things are still going well? This is nuts; I hope he makes it!
He should have finished by now. Hopefully the follow up coverage is extensive so we can see some videos of the guy running and an interview.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
