In looking for some articles on the Rocky Mountain shootout, I came across an article about a Mark Wetmore getting married.
At first I thought, "That would be a funny headline for LetsRun.com: 'Mark Wetmore Gets Married.'"
Then I realized, wait a minute, that's not a random Mark Wetmore. That's Mark Wetmore the agent (and Cornell alum I should add).

So, let me get this straight: you're saying, it's not Mark Wetmore the Colorado Buffaloes coach, but neither is it a random individual who would make a funny headline by being confused with said coach and causing confusion, but, actually, nevertheless, is an individual connected to the collegiate running world (but not the Colorado Buffaloes coach).

Mark ran competively and well for the BAA in his post-Cornell days. He has helped put Boston on the national indoor map. In addition to his US runners, he has helped many Ethiopians and Chinese.
Not just Boston. His firm puts on both the Boston Indoor Games and the Adidas Grand Prix. They represent people like Tyson Gay, Morgan Uceny, Anna Pierce, and Nick Willis.
Without this Mark Wetmore, the sport in the USA would be poorer.

You know what might be even funnier? Every time a Robert Johnson or Weldon Johnson gets married, it gets posted to the front page. Uproarious. Also, it will be hilarious because it will likely only happens once every 6 years.
