I don't know if Jeter is a doper or not, but if are going to base it on her performance improvement over 3 years, you would have to include a lot of athletes for example people like Mo Farah, Rupp, Solinski, several Jamaicans, David Oliver the Cuban pole vaulter, the Kenyan steepler who 4 weeks ago ran the 2nd fastest time in history, etc. Also, if I took you or anyone who is slightly built and put you on high protein diet and a strict strength training program, your body will change quite a bit. I have had athletes make a similar type of physical change as Jeter has in less than 3 years.
With that said, read my posts about the anti-doping efforts of WADA. It is not fool proof, but it is lot closer to it than most people think. I spent part of my career in the pharmaceutical industry and there is a lot industry science being applied at the WCs that was previously unavailable. The new techniques are very good. There have not been any announcements yet, but they are onto a few people.
What would say if I told you that Usain Bolt was told to false start in the 100m and to DNS for the 200m and the relay? I find it hard to believe as well and I definitely put it in the rumor category, but let’s see what happens. What I do know is that there are 2 categories of PEDs that were previously undetectable by the time the athlete got to completion, that are now analytically detectable and WC athletes were unaware of this.
