Does anyone wash their running clothes in the shower? With Shampoo and body soap? I read that it was better than the washer/dryer. Any experience on this?

Yeah I do it with my shorts everyday or I'd be doing wash all the time. Especially when I start doing doubles.
The water in the shower doesn't get nearly hot enough to give sweaty clothes a good washing. No wonder why people on this board complain about body acne.
i wash runner clothes in the shower whenever i'm traveling. works great.
the remark about 'not hot enough' is bogus. i wash all my clothes in cold water and hang dry. never had body acne.
I have a bar across the top of the shower, that I hang my running clothes on with hangers after rinsing them out.
I redid the shower so it has a tub faucet at the bottom, and a handle at the top with the shower knobs. I run the water in the bucket while it's warming up, rinse my togs and then shower.

I put my running gear in the washing machine on a cold wash. It works just fine.

That's a good idea.
