They put him back on their payroll.
I want to like Nike, I really do.
But wtf?

the man has changed.
he has learned his lesson.
I don't believe it.
The only thing that has changed is that he had a great 2010 season, which is apparently enough for The Swoosh to forgive and forget.
This is the company that counts Tiger and LeBron as endorsers. Not exactly like they care about ethical standards among their spokesmen, all that really matters is making headlines that contribute to the image of sporting achievement.
isn't Pharmstrong still on their payroll as well???
Good point, but at least he didn't kill dogs for sport (that I know of)
Actually I was at a Niketown last week and they are dumping all their Livestrong clothing, so as they say in the corporate world, beware of the furniture movers, they are the first to know...
Dude's paid his debt to society. This is a non issue. If you really want to get into it, he's really not going to see much of that money. All this Nike and Eagles contract money is being "garnished" to the Falcons, Powerade and the remainder of his bankruptcy filings...
I haven't bought anything from Nike in years. I believe they're morally bankrupt! I'm sure they're no worse than many other companies but they have a massive PR department that can both help and hinder. The more PR stuff they put out the more I dislike them, a bunch of fraudsters!
So Nike has made a business partnership with a cold medication company? Big f***ing deal.
No more Nike shoes for me - it's a shame because I like the shoes - but I DO NOT like Nike supporting Vicks.
Maybe we'll see Vick in some custom dog hide Vics this year.
So now that nike is associated themselves with a man who fought dogs your going to stop buying their products.Ohh Noo.
In reality all you will do is claim that you will stop buying their products but once you go to race an 800 and need a new pair of spikes, youll probably compromise and buy the victorys anyway.
If you really cared about the morality of Nike, you would have stopped buying their products a long time ago. What they pay their Indonesian workers is disgusting

SO KEEP ON MAKING THOSE BIG CLAIMS ABOUT HOW YOU WILL STOP BUYING NIKE PRODUCTS

Let he who had not sinned cast the first stone?
Who hasn't made a mistake?
I would hope Mr. Vick has higher moral standards than to do business with a company that continues to profit from child slave labor
Wow what really wrote:

Refusing to buy nike products is not "casting stones". It's a decision to voice an opinion about giving endorsement money to a convicted felon. Vick's mistake was he got caught.
I put too much sugar in my coffee this morning. That's a mistake. Vick tortured and killed dozens, if not hundreds of dogs as a hobby. That is a malicious, hateful, individual that should still be in jail.
BTW, this is not a race issue. I believe Plaxico Burress got a terrible deal. The only victim of that crime was Burress. He should have got a few weeks in jail and had his gun rights rescinded. The fact that he spent almost as much time in prison as Vick speaks volumes about the incredibly low value animals are given in this society.
