shoe help -
there are no clear alternatives to the brooks adrenaline thus far in any running shoe line that under armour has put out there (from this past spring going back 2 years... I am unaware of their fall line, and can bet my ass they didn't make a summer line).
i understand that you just want to suit your school, AD, UA and parents, but if you take running seriously (being active on this board proves that) i would reconsider the tape notion brought up above. if a brooks adrenaline works with you, then wear it, and do not change. this is the golden rule in wearing shoes (although being a fit and young runner you can probably change if necessary, without too much risk of injury). shoe change does a great deal in changing your gait mechanics and could end up in injury.
bottom line: stick to the adrenalines they are a prove shoe, through and through. UA does not have the capacity to put out a good quality supportive shoe like the adrenaline yet, i believe their focus is still in brand building and reaching out to get contracts (as they have w your school, i assume you are located in the DC/Baltimore metro area or LA, UAs east and west coast bases).
be careful!
