Kara is from Michigan!
I miss the days of Shorter & Liquori, Especially Liquori on "Running & Racing"
They should just get those British guys that announced during Haile G. and D Komen's heyday. I think Cram was one of them.

No, Minnesota.
He must just have a hard time keeping Michigan and Minnesota straight. He had Davilla training in Rochester, Minnesota rather than Rochester Hills, Michigan.

That was a great show! I had forgotten all about it.
He's a fine announcer, is Larry Rawson. He must have heard us complaining about that stilted construction, because I have not heard him use it in a long time.
That bugs me about their coverage. While the runners are lined up waiting to go they talk about one person. They should be running down each starter and giving his/her name. The race starts and they cover the screen with their names.
Bush league- GW Bush league.
I've never been able to sit through an NBC track and field broadcast without rolling my eyes so much I get a headache. But it has actually become entertaining for me to listen to these guys f*** up so much. I know it kinda ruins our sport and all that, but it's really funny in a pathetic sort of way.
Marty Liquori if he could put down that f. guitar.
Toni Reavis was pretty good too. He did road race of the month. Great show- they showed Carlsbad- it took 30 minutes to show a 5K- great job, split the men and women, showed every step. Also showed San Blas, Stra Milano ...
