Happy with today's run. It was windy, again, for the 4th race in a row, which made it tough going from 0-3 & 7.5-9km. Solo run, spent 7km trying to catch the 2 guys in 5th and 6th place, but once I got up to them they didn't come with me, so finished 5th and 1st V40, I think.
Still in shock regarding Mo Farah's run on Friday night. To have obliterated the British record, take down the European record and run well under 27 is one thing, but to have beaten a stellar field in doing so blew my mind. He's on a whole new level. Seems as though working with Salazar was a really good call.
Also stunned by Mosop's double WR for 25 and 30km at the same meet. Thought the post-race interviews with him and Canova were very interesting, it'll be absolutely mind-bending if he can really lay down a 2:02.
