I need some help with Physics. Our coach is taking us to Lock Haven to jump into "a hole". Last year he said the athletes averaged 11 3/4" further than their season average because the pit is low and you get a nice tailwind.
My question is does it really add 11 3/4" if the pit is a foot low which is an inch for an inch. I normally jump between 22'1" and 22'10" (with a PR of 23'5 1/4") how far should I jump? Assume I have a 2mph wind to assist.
