I am a Junior in highschool and I have a list planned out of the colleges that I will look at. Can any of you tell me anything about these programs for women?

Be more concerned about the degree you will pursue, it's a lot more important than the school.
McNeese State - never heard of it.
Lamar University - I see a lot of billboards with their name on it, but I think it's a different Lamar
UTSA - if you took the S out it would be okay
Texas A&M - hey I've heard of that one! Are you going into engineering?

Dont pay a lot for an undergrad education, spend you money on grad school.
Wrong. Don't pay a lot of money for undergrad education, then get paid to go to graduate school
obviously texas a and m is the place, but the essential issue is that you do outstanding in college and virtually any college can be a launching pad for top graduate schools, if you impress your professors and get top grades, while doing original work. that's just a matter of hard work and persistence.
Well, if by "programs" you mean track and field, you do know that the Texas A&M Aggies are the defending NCAA women's champions, right? They get almost all of their points in the short stuff so if you're a decent distance runner, maybe they'd like to have you.
